How to play
Stardew Valley has two main types of gameplay: casual and cultivation.
The most basic gameplay in Stardew Valley is crop farming, foraging, livestock breeding, fishing, mining, manufacturing, cooking, socialization (chatting and gift giving), main quests and limited time quests, festivals, rebuilding community centers.
This time we will focus on the four basic parts of crop farming, foraging, livestock breeding, and fishing.
Crop farming
1. Clearing: Clearing trees or wood with an axe, removing weeds with a scythe and removing stones with a pickaxe.
2. Plowing: Use the hoe to grind the ground which can become a dark plantable land (planting trees do not need to grind the ground).
3. Planting: Press the seeds in the item bar and then press it near the plantable land to sow the seeds.
4. Watering: In addition to rain, remember to water the crops every day.
5. Harvesting: Some crops can be harvested multiple times, remember to continue watering.
Foraging
1. The map will be refreshed randomly every day, you can go around and find fruits, berries, mushrooms and so on.
2. Find the trash can: There is a probability of useful items, but do not be seen by other NPCs.
Livestock breeding
1. Build a barn: Go to the carpenter's store and bring the appropriate amount of wood and stones and gold coins to build a barn, and only after the construction can you raise animals.
2. Buy animals: Go to Marnie's ranch to buy animals.
3. Raising animals: Animals need to be fed with hay, use the scythe to harvest the yellow hay in the farm, and generally need to go to the carpenter's store to build a silo.
4. Produce animal products: You need to wait for the farm animals to grow up and then you can produce animal products.
Fishing
1. Fishing rod: You will receive a letter and a fishing rod after a few days at the opening, and you can buy a new fishing rod after you upgrade your fishing level.
2. Casting: You can hold down the left mouse button to build up power.
3. Fishing: The fishing rod is not good as well as fishing level, so it is not easy to start fishing, later change the fishing rod and fishing gear can which can reduce the difficulty of fishing.
