Township
The Description of Township
Township is a traditional farming simulation game that combines city building and farm management. Players develop farming, farming, building a city and then agricultural trade around an agricultural town. The main idea of the game is to link individual farming operations into a complete chain, increase revenue, expand the territory and make your town more prosperous by increasing the population.
How to play
The game is based on the development of a town, which first requires buildings, which are divided into houses (to provide population), community buildings (to raise the population limit), factories, farming (with pastures), decorations and exclusive items. Here I’d like to introduce you two systems.
1. Ordering system
The source of the town's development is planting and farming, then crops and various agricultural by-products are put into various factories to be processed into various products (all items have to be put into granaries before they can be sent), and gold and experience values are obtained by completing orders from residents via helicopter. Orders are the earliest way to recover money.
Orders need to be delivered by helicopter, so try to place the helicopter in the center of the city. If you feel you can't complete an order, you can cancel it, but it will be at least half a minute before the next one appears. Since orders are not limited in time, there may be items in the order that cannot be produced now. There are two main types of orders: those with a large number of requests for one or three items (mostly for simple crops or low-level products) and those with a small number of requests for multiple (up to six) items (often with items that are difficult to produce).
2. Train system
Farmland can only be unlocked according to the number of people, the more people, the more farmland can be built, but the number of people has a ceiling, you have to build community buildings to increase the population ceiling, but after the construction of community buildings there are some materials to complete, if you want to get these materials, you can only rely on the train and the market.
The difficulty of expanding the city area gradually increases, starting with just money, then adding shovels, axes and saw blades. These items can also only be obtained by train. As a price, trains do not provide gold.
In the middle and later stages of the game, the burst warehouse is the most painful problem for players, because all activities must be transferred through the warehouse, and even if you produce a bunch of them, you still can't finish the order without space in the warehouse. This requires upgrading the granary with upgrade materials (nails, hammers and paint). The upgrade materials (including materials for expanding the city area and building materials needed for community buildings) all take up warehouse space. Therefore, it is almost mandatory to upgrade if conditions allow. You can sell the items in the warehouse at a low price to free up space.
